This devotional is not like the gentle and passive types I've read before. Yes, maybe about 10 days
out of the 365 seem inappropriate to me at this point of my walk but most of it has certainly helped me to become an overcoming, stronger, braver Christ follower in overcoming sickness, lack and family worries, challenging me from a "cruising belief level" to really taking God at His word and receiving answers to prayers, taking me from prayers I used to speak but negated by the words I spoke a little later, that revealed unbelief.

It was a good one. I would say it would be a great gift for someone who is new to Christianity as it repeats alot of the same topics throughout and goes back to when the authors was first comeing to Christ.

My grandma got her daughters & granddaughters this devotional for their birthdays so we could all read and share what we read and thought. She is a special lady. The devotional is good enough to return to every few years.

THIS BOOK SEEMED VERY COMMERCIAL TO ME. LEANED MORE TOWARD RELIGOUS TREND RATHER THAN PERSONAL SPIRITUALITY. THE LEAST INSIGHTFUL DEVOTIONAL I'VE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO READ.
