A GM. New Mexico/Colorado Western Action Adventure (SV) (THSB - 4)

GM. has penned a New Mexico/Colorado western action adventure titled, "Stallion Valley" which begins with Ruff and Dixie headed North from Sante Fe. As they near the town of Rio Paso they are attacked by four riders and kill three of research them. Only to find that the one that got away was the leader of an outlaw gang that had just robbed the bank at Rio Paso. They become involved with a new lawman and then they encounter the same dirty Sheriff from the previous town they passed through. They were after the money from the bank. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Stallion Valley (The Horseman Series Book 5)

Dixie and Ruff had been left with what was left of their father's herd of horses that was so special. They were determined to find a place to start another ranch to carry on their father's legacy. Along the way they seem to attract trouble without even trying. Bank robbers literally run into them and they stop a few of them, but there are more. They wonder if they will ever find a place to call home again.

Great book

Loved the action but I wonder what happened to the ones they left behind. You didn't write the follow-up. Thanks

Ruff

When the Marshall needs a volunteer to help bring some outlaws to justice, Ruff is the only person in town to step forward. Another great book in The Horseman Series.

Long Live The Ballou's ( Horsemen and Horse's )

There's nothing any better then a good Western except a great Western saga. I'm really sad that it ended . I want to know more about the Ballou's and their horses. Did they find what they were looking for. Will they ever have a happy life? There is so much more to know about the finest horsemen and horseman ever. The love and respect for all horses reminds me of my husband and his grandfather. Mr. McCarthy please continue the Ballou saga. The best darn western I've read in a long time. It's a real treat.

Enjoyable

This series is a jump from the crime, mystery, thriller & suspense novels I usually read. I so enjoyed traveling with this brave and proud family, ethical and a strong sense of right & wrong . Also in this series is a history of life in during the Civil War, travel across travel across the the country. Dixie is a wonderfully strong and obstinate, and sassy young "woman". Thank you for this enjoyable read.
