"Favor will cause you to regain in a day what Satan has stolen from you for years." (Dave Martin, The Force of Favor, p. 9)
This book has power principles for increasing in Favor. Some of them that the Author expounds upon were:
▲ Favor will determine the level of your income.
▲ Favor will show up in your life when you associate with the right people.
▲ Favor will leave your life when you associate with the wrong people.
▲ Favor will cause you to rise to the top!
A day of favor will change your life forever! This book then shows how we can declare favor over our lives and the lives of others. He says, "you have to learn to declare favor over your life on a daily basis." The areas that he recommends declaring favor are:
- Your family;
- When traveling;
- In all your dealings with man;
- Your neighbors;
- On your job;
- Shopping! (This one is fun!).
The following is a Favor Declaration that is included in this book that you are welcome to pray, even now:
"Lord, I thank you today for Your Favor. I thank You that I am your favorite child, and that means I am particularly esteemed and have undue preference. I am the apple of Your eye, I am crowned with glory, and honor; and because I wear a crown, that shows me that I am royalty. I have the character and status of a king [queen]. As part of the royal family, I can expect preferential treatment. I declare today Favor in every area of my life...with family, on my job, with my neighbors, in the marketplace, and in places where I will travel. I am choosing to accept and walk in the Favor of God." (p. 25, parenthesis mine)
I find when I start reading books on Favor, I begin attracting Favor into my life. And I believe this will happen for you too.
Also, there is some good advice in this book on how obedience, seeking God first, excellence, solving problems for others, giving gifts...causes favor to increase in your life.
I release the favor of God and man in Jesus' Name! Amen.

I loved this! I looked forward to reading more each day. This book will teach you how to recognize, accept, and walk in the favor of God. He uses biblical examples and personal stories to illustrate 7 ways to increase your favor. It also includes testimonies of people who have seen these principles work in their life. Ignite your faith and check it out.
It's a great book club book for both new and seasoned Christians. I read this with my brother and it sparked a lot of great discussion. Highly recommend!!!

"To say the same thing verbally that God has already said about you in the Bible is not fantasy or an exercise in vanity. It is a powerful act of faith that can activate the presence and promises of God in your life, because, if you say it loud enough and often enough, it will finally begin to seep into your heart and mind, affecting the way you think, the way you feel, the way you perceive the world, and the way you live your life. Then the things that come out of our mouth will start flowing from experience rather than beginning faith. Your words will have power. They will pack a punch. And they will truly reshape your life and the lives of those around you." (Dave Martin, The Force of Favor, Page 32-33)
"Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." (Luke 2:52, NIV) Therefore, if Christ grew in favor, then could it be possible, as Christians, that God also wills that we grow in favor? How did Jesus increase in favor? To sum up this book, it is by being obedient to the will of God and His will is found in His Word - the Bible.
There are specific strategies in this book about how to increase your favor. For example, the quote at the top of this review shows how confessing the favor of God over your life, your circumstances, others....causes the favour of God to be manifested in our lives because our words have creative power.
There are strategies on how to increase in favour on your job, with people, relationships, etc.
You are high favoured and this book is a good tool to help you manifest that favour in your life. While reading this book I started to experience the manifest favour in some circumstances. I found the anointing of favour beginning to manifest. For example, I received $10,000.00 of unexpected finances.
The only criticism I have of this book is when the author is talking about tithing and giving offerings and how in order for us to prosper financially, we require to sow financial seed. I don't fully agree with this, even through I am a faithful tither and person who gives offerings and consider myself blessed financially, I will not endorse that only tithing and giving offerings make financial increase come into your life. This is SURE part of it, but another crucial aspect of prospering financially is rendering service to others...i.e. WORK...and when I say work...it is not half-hearted work, but working with your whole heart and skillfully.
The world rewards money to those who will solve problems and render service to others.

Highly recommended for anybody looking to move their relationship with God to the next dimension and wanting to gain His favor. Practical day to day things that one can do to better themselves as people. It was especially informative to me as a "new christian"...
