I downloaded this free short story from www.delaneydiamond.com and thought it would be a good way to get to know Delaney as a writer. I have heard her name before but have never read one of her books. When reading the description, I wondered how she was going to cram that much history into a short story; after all, the main characters know each other pretty well by the time we come in on their story.
However, I was not disappointed. In just 21 pages, Delaney managed to pull you into the passion and sexual tension of the main characters. She was also able to present their past history in a way that was extremely subtle. Within just a few pages, you feel like you already know these characters.
If this short story is any indication of what a reader can expect from Delaney Diamond, then I will definitely be checking out more of her books!

What a cute little story this was!
Maxwell had plans to get the woman who stole his heart doing a photo shoot in Australia some time back and Sandrine, a former model was afraid to take that leap of faith with him since their night together was only a fling. Or so she thought.
I enjoyed this story from the beginning to end.

SWEET, SENSUAL, but VERY short romantic treat.

I found it very riveting, Sandrine was so afraid to take a chance at love but Maxwell would not give up, he was in love her and he set out to convince her they could be together happily. I truly great book!

I just got finished reading another short story "More than a lover" that I would rate as I really liked. This one was just okay for me.
