They represent only a fraction of his artistic journey that has produced over 500 drawings during a period of two years. Each drawing is simply presented to be experienced one at a time. They each have a sense of whimsy and are filled with delicious textures and patterns.

He graduated from James Madison University located in Harrisonburg, VA and currently works as a graphic designer in Washington, DC. Andy makes his home in Reston, VA with his wife Candice, his son Nicholas.
No stranger to the creative process, Mr.Black is a fine artist, graphic designer, and self-taught mountain dulcimer player. Volunteering in the community is another one of his passions, particularly working with Boy Scouts of America Troop 1577 in Herndon, VA.
