John Christian founded Varoshi Fame in 1986 as a one time performance. Instead, they went on to produce five albums and one EP during their four year history. In this book, light is shed on the various influences that came together and ultimately formed this unique industrial music ensemble. Personal history is revealed, and demonstrates how it aided in the shaping of the Varoshi Fame sound, as well as all that which came after its final act. The music of Varoshi Fame was written to draw the listener in with its message of peace through anarchy and Zen. The philosophy of Varoshi Fame is summed up in their moniker Dance and Think, that dichotomy of playfulness and seriousness. Originally, Unfolded and Grown was released as a companion E-book to the double album by the same name which was produced in 2015 as a 30th anniversary redux. More importantly, it served as closure to the movement. Varoshi Fame is over. It was resurrected in 2015, and goes by the name John Christian's Varoshi Fame. In 2021 I re-edited this book, added all new information to complete the project, and release it here in paperback form.
