Although less than 170 pages, this book contains a lot of info on New York baseball. The author, the beat writer for the NY Herald Tribune is very entertaining with his takes on baseball in the 50's NY.

Includes a lot of stories familiar to anyone who follows baseball history but it also included a lot of anecdotes I had not previously encountered.
