The first of a three-level series (with an optional starter level for elementary students) designed primarily for junior-high and high school curricula. Systemic Japanese-language acquisition through a structured learning process is the main feature of the course. Co-ordinating structure and verbal communication skills, the student book introduces the building-blocks of Japanese grammar through key sentences, dialogues, exercises and activities. Exposure to natural Japanese is facilitated by the audio tapes, approximately 300 minutes in length.
