Excel VBA in Easy Steps

Rate this book
The Barnes & Noble Review
There comes a time in the life of every business Excel user when you just have to face the facts: It's time to learn VBA. Now, you can make it hard on yourself. Or you can do it the easy way, with Excel VBA: In Easy Steps.

This is VBA from scratch, organized into almost 100 bite-sized "modules," each presented simply, cleanly, in full color, with plenty of examples. All you need is here, from simple macro recording to the Excel object model, from basic variables and loops to ActiveX controls. What's more, it's all covered in barely 180 pages. Suddenly, learning VBA doesn't have to be a life mission: You can actually do it in your spare time. Bill Camarda

This is an older edition (2004) but it was still very helpful in learning the basics. Some of the VBA rules are more implied in the text than explicitly stated but through attempting to create my own and rereading passages.
