I’m originally from a small southern town where everyone knew everyone and their business. I was so happy to leave and move to California for college where I was originally going to be a veterinarian. Well, I met a guy (yeah it’s that kind of story) and dropped out of school to have my oldest daughter. We soon divorced, and as therapy, I started to write.

I never did go back to college, and have been writing ever since. I love to write about sex. Lots of sex. Taboo sex, kinky sex, anything but missionary sex (unless the heroine is tied up tight 🙂 ) It’s probably something to do with my southern upbringing.

Driven Hard. This story was slow and long but has a definitely great story!! It took me a while to read but I must admit I was glad I read it. The characters in this story were so realistic and got to my heart. Layne was celebrating her twenty first birthday. Her dad pays for everything in her life but doesn't like her way of living. She is a social influencer and does everything on social media. Her life is an open book. That's what started her problems when she was expecting her boyfriend to ask her to marry her on social media. That set the next months into motion. She was devastated he dumped her on social media. It put her in a crazy mood and she took off without telling anyone. She gets into a predicament that she needs to be rescued from and here comes Ray who saves her and they strike up a friendship. This trucker driver had no idea what knowing Layne will have on his life. The attraction is unbelievable and they seem to not be able to keep away from each other. In the mist of this relationship, Layne's father is not happy with it and decides to try and break them up. Her dad does some things that later damages his relationship with his daughter and lands him in jail. You are going to want to read this story! Layne is turning 21 today. She's a social media influencer and has dated her boyfriend for a while and they had planned to get engaged on her birthday and all her followers would get to see it live. However, her football player didn't exactly propose to her as planned.....he dumped her. She takes off after the break up in her new car that her parents gave her to get as far away from everyone as possible. She runs out of gas, almost gets raped and is rescued by a trucker...named Ray.

Ray is a loner, ex-military with PTSD and a trucker. When he comes upon a woman being accosted by two men, he decides to rescue her. What he didn't expect is what happened with her next.

Ray and Layne had quite the story! This story had it's share of ups, downs and hotness! Great story, great characters!!

Layne is heartbroken when her boyfriend ends things with her because he is seeing someone else. She gets in her car and takes off. When she runs out of gas, she never expects to be almost assaulted but that's what happened at least until Ray shows up and saves her. Ray is a former marine and works as a trucker for his uncle. Sparks fly between them as he helps her. Will this be a fresh start for both of them?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book that any book lover would enjoy.

This could easily be a 5 star book if only someone had taken the time to have it proof read and edited. Almost every page held at least 1 typo/grammatical error/mis-used word/etc to the point of frustrating. The story itself, excellent. The character development, awesome. Lots of suspense and real life drama mixed in with loads of hot spices. This author is a real wordsmith and I look forward to reading more from her, I just hope the editing is a little cleaner.

Layne Michaels is a social influencer and while live is betrayed by her boyfriend which sets her on a new path that leads her to ray Bryant a older man. What a fantastic story I loved the characters but I found that the life lessons they both learned was the best parts. Beautiful

When Layne gets a broken heart for her birthday, she goes on a road trip and gets stuck. Ray rescues her, and the attraction is pretty intense. Past haunts and hurts try to keep them apart, but love wins in the end.

This was a delightful story to read.

So much potential

What to say? Didn't like the character of maybe at all, very young and stupid yet sailed through all the drama. Had so much potential but sorry was like a vapid alternative universe that needed some reality.

This book has a great love story. Two people who found each other by fate. I loved the way they gave strength to each other, even when her father tried to ruin her life to separate them. The encouragement and help they received from his family, her mother and their friends was a plus to the story.
I really loved this story and it was hard to put down, BUT, it was difficult to read because of all of the mistakes. The mixing of pronouns, words missing or out of place had me rereading to make sense of what was supposed to have been written. Someone did a disservice to this book with the poor proofreading. The book was very long , over 600 pages. It wasn’t because the story took so long to tell, but there were pages of long sex scenes in almost many chapters. I found that once the scene stared, I could go to the end and pick up the story again. Those scenes were written well but there were a lot of them.
