Two male vampire cowboys come together in a bar as strangers but leave as lovers.
Donovan and Rod are two vampires who like to role-play. Friday night is cowboy night, and the two meet as strangers at the Warehouse on Sixth Street. In familiar room number twelve, their erotic encounter includes the mutual exchange of blood and ends with a promise of more to come.
Rebecca Leigh is the mistress of her own destiny. From the confines of her ocean-side bungalow, she gets lost in her erotic fantasies. Those fantasies find their way into her hot, sensual romances -- paranormal, M/M, F/F, menage -- you name it, she writes it! She occasionally allows herself breaks from her erotic ball-and-chain to drink wine and eat oysters.
it is hard for me to write a review for this one, it was so short. The writing was done really well and it is a smooth read. It is just the one scene so it is mostly sex.
I like the gay cowboy vampire idea and liked what we saw of Rod and Donovan so hope Rebecca expands on these guys and gives them a longer story where you can get to know them better
Room Number 12 is a short read that sizzles with m/m goodness, just enough to give you a taster of what a longer work by Rebecca Leigh would be like and certainly enough hotness to sate your quest for lust if you’re short on time.
Donovan meets Rod in a club—cool that they need a password at the door to get in—and they hook up in room number 12 for some hot sex and blood sucking. It’s a well-rounded short (can I be annoying and say I wish it had been longer? I liked Ms Leigh’s voice and style) that tells the tale in few words, but it isn’t just sex. There are some lovely passages of description and emotions that I enjoyed a lot, and I finished the tale satisfied but wanting more from the two men playing at being cowboys.
