I Feel Bullied by Jen Green is a simple yet profound book about how bullying feels like, looks like, and sounds like. It is about a little boy who is bullied by his sister at home which makes him feel hurt and small. However, he realizes that his sister is bullied by his brother who is finally caught by his mother. The boy beautifully depicts that bullying causes some symptoms like one feels like one's tummy is tied in knots, one doesn't feel like eating anything, or even might have trouble sleeping at night. The boy and his friend also get bullied by girls in school and finally realize to seek help from parents or teachers. The boy even learns to express his feelings by standing up against the bully to stop it and leave him alone. This book also talks about bullying isn't just a common phenomenon for kids but it is also prevalent in the world of adults. In the end, one understands that a bully is someone who needs help and hitting back or bullying back makes the situation worse. So the best way to stop bullying is by expressing yourself firmly or seeking help to put an end to this trauma.
