Highly useful book to keep on the flute bookshelf and read along with Quantz and Hotteterre.

This book helped me understand better the Hotteterre "principle of the flute..." and Quantz "Ein versuch.." It is written in a more "modern" way, mostly helps the transition from the modern flutist to the baroque flutist. Helped me very much and was happy to buy it.
