A good review of 24 trails in the Tahoe area. She includes a couple by Donner State Park. The longest is 7.2 miles. A couple are over 5. For the most part, the rest are easy. Unfortunately, we only had time to a couple of them while we were in the area.

A great collection of ideas for short hikes around Lake Tahoe-I am siked to do the Emerald Bay and Skunk Harbor hikes again and try all the new ones that I have never taken!

Very handy little reference book. It's a very nice collection of short and easy hikes all around Lake Tahoe. It also provides good info about where to park and what time of year is best to go.

I knew about a few of these, but found some new ones too. Apparently, it really is an update from the 2nd edition, with new hikes reviewed.
