God Opens Doors: Responding to God's Grace

Rate this book
The theme is about doors. The overarching Bible verse is Matthew 7:7: "Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you." The door represents different ways we knock and enter into a relationship with God, as well as the way God may knock at our door. We knock as a response to being invited into a relationship with God; our knock is in response to God's invitation and God's grace. The Bible stories are as Day 1 - The Door of Knowing The Shema - Deuteronomy 6:1-9 Day 2 - The Door of Hannah at the Temple - 1 Samuel 1:1-18 Day 3 - The Door of A Forgiven Woman - Luke 7:36-50 Day 4 - The Door of A Leper Returns to Give Thanks - Luke 17:11-19 Day 5 - The Door of Sharing Christ's Paul and Silas Share Jesus' Love with the Jailer - Acts 16:25-34
