The book, entirely in English, is designed for a two-module language course (six credits) in three-year degrees. Each teaching unit provides students with the tools to practice on a grammatical form or structure and contains texts in which recurring terms appear in a plurality of specialized languages. By integrating the communicative method with texts built around historical or topical subjects, the book intends to combine the study of basic and advanced grammatical notions with the transmission of information on human and historical geography, institutions, society, economy and political debate in contemporary Britain.
