Interesting read for its focus on less-known parts of the war in Europe, and the POW experience. My biggest complaint is that the end felt very rushed and could have used a longer finish.

General plot a good one: an informer is found guilty of conspiring with the prison camp guards in a WW2 POW camp by a kangaroo court. He is then hung but was he guilty or innocent, that's the painful truth that his brother is trying to uncover after the war.

Got upto page 50 but finding it very ploddy and slow. It's becoming a chore to pick it up so putting on hold and moving on.

Wish there had been more written reviews to compare initial thoughts although there is a 5 star rating so it must be ok.

Excellent teaser but it's just not pulled me in. Will keep a look out for future reviews.
