The author of this book is primarily an illustrator, and his primary language is French. That being said, the text for this book has some issues here and there and really shouldn't be the reason you pick it up. The reason you pick it up is for the very excellent artwork inside: dozens of excellent profiles from the first prototype through service in World War II, Korea, and with French, Central and South American militaries, various advertisements from older publications extolling or showing some aspect of the Corsair, and lots of illustrations of specific parts of the Corsair. This is primarily an art book, secondarily a history of the plane. Five stars for the artwork, three for the text, four overall.
