A great read for any young person or someone who continues to find Mr. Wrong or Ms. Wrong. The answer may be in what you are looking for and not who you are looking for. Randy Pope does a great job of explaining how most people develop superficial relationships that will not stand the test of time because they never reach a spiritual level. When people can develop a spiritual relationship the chances of success in a marriage are so much better because all individuals will loose their looks and personalities change but the spiritual connection can be the GLUE that keeps a relationship through the good and the bad

I thought this book was okay. I didn't find it very practical until the last two chapters. I thought it would be a lot more practical than it was and it kind of disappointed me in that way. In this book, Randy Pope uses his dating experience as well as being a pastor for singles to emphasis the importance of finding your "million dollar mate". I found that this book was mainly him sharing his experiences and not so much practical.

I saw Randy Pope's video series a couple years ago based on this book (or vise versa) and some of the advice he's given has stuck with my ever since. It's a fast read because it's short, I don't agree with everything he says, of course, but for the most part it is sound advice in a world where the dating scene has marred good ol' fashioned courtship beyond recognition.

A good book. I'm not sure if I'm a Christian truly yet, but plan to start implementing some of its principles.
I believe he is right, or at least I know that our culture is wrong. I don't want to be another statistic.
