Didn't enjoy quite as much as the first one but I still enjoyed. An easy to read book.

Life in France, the past informs the present
I much preferred the life of these real characters as defined in their village of St. Paradis, or roundabout, than those describing “twinning” villages or cities. How they renovated their French home, the people they met, forming local friendships, were fascinating to me. In fact, I would have loved to read more about the close relationships they had with French natives, what their early years were like growing up in France.

A continuation of book one
More fun from the Loader family. It is a fun and interesting visit into their lives as they refurbish an old French house in a small village, get to know the friendly neighbors, and their dogs, plus see how they cope with obstacles such as heavy snow and frozen pipes while they learn about the history of their French home.
