I have read and reread and earmarked and used post-it's. I LOVE this book.
Sure, it's about scouting. It is particularly helpful if you are a Den Leader or CubMaster. But ultimately it has OODLES of ideas to keep your kids happy.
There are sections on carnival games and skits but the real value is the Games section.
Quiet games with little equipment, quiet games with no equipment, cooperative games, indoor active games, active games for outdoors with no equipment. These are all section in the games section.
Have kids? need them to sweat a bit? stay preoccupied? have some fun? be quiet on a rainy/snowy day? This is the book for you.
