I'm preparing for my first oral argument and as far as I can tell this book is the Bible. Frederick's prescriptions and pitfalls are all good, but even better is the painstakingly curated collection of snippets from oral arguments he uses to illustrate his points. Whether you've argued twenty cases or none at all, you'll likely learn something here.

FYI- This is a re-read review. It’s my third time reading the series, 1st time reading them back to back.
How could I have forgotten how FREAKING amazing this book is? So incredibly magical and moving. BLOODY BRILLIANT.

Of course I love the part where Harry is flooded with letters. Hagrid kicks ass. Especially when he has discovered how Harry has been treated by the Dursleys. Hermoine just kicks general ass. Her Leviosa remark is hysterical. I forgot how much I hate Draco Malfoy. Favorite teacher (at least in this book) is Minerva Mcgonagall. I love how we all think Harry is going to get in trouble for riding his broom but then ends up on the Quiddich team. I love the Weasley twins and how much trouble they always call. I love, love, love the chess scene. I love how Dumbledore treats Harry and I almost teared up when Neville Longbottom got awarded points at the end of the book.

Anxiety Rating: Fairly high anxiety, but its somehow always been manageable in the series.
