When I entered peri-menopause at 40 and all my friends of the same age looked at me with a blank look. Older women told me I was too young for that. This book made me feel normal and yes indeed, you can enter peri-menopause at 40 (and younger!). Funny, reassuring and full of great information. The best book I have read on the subject.

From this book I am learning that aging is a blessing, and that being forty (something) is beautiful. Youth isn't everything. For all we give up with our youth, we gain so much more with age.
