It's interesting to discover how the actual Pope faced his way to his actual position. Without doubt, the efforces made are evident, especially if you take in consideration that he lived during the second world war. This book helps you to discover these steps, giving you the opportunities to know new aspects which in some way can increase the esteem in the actual Pope. At the same time, I have to say that it seems that the writer is on the side of Benedikt XVI and for this reason he doesn't speak about some declarations made from the actual Pope, which created embarassments within the christian community.
