Timeless Ireland: Faces and places of the Emerald Isle
Cead Mile Failte, "One Hundred Thousand Welcomes", is the motto of Ireland, said to be the birthplace of hospitality. From the bustling metropolitan centers of Dublin and Belfast to the bucolic countryside of County Kerry, Ireland's people and places have always beckoned the traveler to come, sit for a spell, and perhaps listen to a story or two. Timeless Ireland; Faces and Places of the Emerald Isle is an armchair tour of Ireland, capturing the beauty, mystery, and history of this magical, fascinating country. With over 150 stunning color photographs, photographer Michael Rutherford and writer Aubrey Watson take readers along with them on a journey through the towns, villages, and cities of both the Republic and Northern Ireland, stopping along the way to meet the people who give this mythic, troubled land its unique and precious spirit.

I got this as a gift from a friend. It was copyrighted in 1998 and has about 130 pages to view. Interesting captions for the fotos which is what this book is, fotos of Ireland. It took me about 30 minutes to finish it. It was worth the time to read. If you love Ireland and its scenery I think you would enjoy this book.
