Catalogue from a group exhibition that explore the state of contemporary Chinese social realism in art. Through the disciplines of photography, sculpture, video, painting and installation art the work of some 70 Chinese artists is presented as a way of measuring the interaction of art with society and culture. Each artist is represented by one work, which is presented one per page, and accompanied by several short essays and biographic notes.
