Our pets are our best friends...but it's sometimes hard to figure out exactly what they're trying to communicate to us. Now, with these two books, readers can learn to use tone and inflection, eye contact, training, touch, and even telepathy, not only to solve behavior problems but to develop a richer relationship with their pets. Plus, information on how canines and felines communicate with each other will help owners interpret the woofs and whines, meows and purrs, and body language to understand what's on their pets' minds-and what they might be trying to express.

I was disappointed in this book. I felt like the author was trying to guilt me into training my dog when I was obviously already interested and motivated to change what I was doing. I didn't need the guilt.
Also, I felt that she tried to anthropomorphosize dogs which I thought was the worse possible thing to do. Dogs are NOT human and that is why many have behavioral problems. Their humans treat them like they are humans and give them human characteristics and reasoning. While I may have learned 1-2 new things from this book, most of it seemed easy answers to more complex questions, correcting the problems without really looking at the reason why it was happening in the first place.
