This helped me re-teach myself how to sew (after learning the basics as a young child) and feel confident in myself. It's a great sewing book for teen/tween girls and moms like me! I actually like and use a lot of the patterns. JoAnn Gagnon also wrote a similar book for young men wanting to learn to sew that's just wonderful called "Buckles and Bobbins." (Has patterns for cargo pants, backpacks, etc....) These books come with FREE patterns to use. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a beginning self-help book guide to sewing/quilting!
