- Studied Medicine at the University of Damascus in Syria, and Mary & Pierre Currie in France.
- Received a Diploma in psychosomatic treatment from the University of Paris 13, and a Diploma in sleeping and waking disorders from the University of Montpellier, 1989. Taught courses on sleeping disorders at the University of North Paris in 1990.
- Co-founder and member of the direction of redaction of the French theoretic revue SOU’AL (1980-1990).
- Co-founder and Director of the Revue MOUKARABAT (1998-2006)

مقالات متنوعة عن حقوق الإنسان في العالم العربي جمعها هيثم مناع من أقلام عربية من مثل ادمون رباط ، شارل مالك ، سعاد الحكيم ، رئيف خوري ، اسماعيل مظهر

وهي في غالبتها مقالات قديمة أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية وما قبلها بقليل ، ولا غرابة في أن تقرأ هذه المقالات من جديد فأمر الحقوق في العالم العربي لم يتغير كثيراً وربما أصبحت أسوأ

أعتقد ان الجزئية التالية من مقال "حقوق الإنسان من أين وإلى أين" لرئيف خوري، تلخص كل ما مر ويمر به العالم العربي منذ بدايات مطلع القرن. ففي حين يعاود العالم اكتشاف مبادئ حقوق الإنسان وتقييمها، تتدهور علاقة الإنسان العربي بحقيقة ما يجري في حلقته الضيقة المسيجة.

"زبدة القول أنا الآن نفيق على أنفسنا وقد عـاثت بنا البرجوازيات الاستعمارية. فنجد أننا ضحايا مساوئ ومظالم تعرقل مطاعنا التقدمية. نجد أنفسنا نتأذى كثيرا من بقايا إقطاعية منحلة كان ينبغي أن تكـون لوشيت قديما، ومن شهوة إلى الحكم الاوتوقراطي تتحرك بها صدور من نرفعـهم إل كراسي الحكم، ومن سيادة يتمتع بها رؤساء الدين لا يستعملونها اسـتعمالا نزيها، ومن انعدام الحقوق والحريات الطيمقراطية، أو من وجودها كسـيحة، ومن عتق أساليب الإنتاج الزراعي والصناعي، ومن العصبيات السامة بشـت صورها، ومن مخاوف الأقليات وشكوكها التي لعبت عليــها البرجوازيــات الاستعمارية لعبا لئيما إجراميا."
