April 20, 2015It is a scientific book. Perfect for wanting to know the basics of how a butterfly evolves from a caterpillar to a butterfly. I think it would be a good supplement to "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".
However, I did have a problem with the writing. It didn't flow like a narrative or a child's book should have flowed. The sentences were all straightforward, just the statement and a period. The book did have its moment when it gave the caterpillar munching sounds. Towards the end, it started to flow, it's just the beginning where it's a bit rocky to read.
