The writer of this book is a friend of mine. He's a hack, but a pleasant enough guy. He bathes often, dresses sharp, a pretty good kisser...

o.k. o.k. so maybe this is shameless self-promotion in lieu of an agent. Whatever whatever...if you buy a copy of this kit, next time we meet, the drinks are on me...

I didn't actually read this book, but the gnome book I read wasn't on good reads. It would feel wrong to give this a low score because I'm sure the nice people who made it tried very hard.

Surprisingly good for a book that comes with a gnome-kit (small desktop gnome + scenery + book), it reads a lot like a well-done wikipedia article, there are a lot of helpful mentions of gnome-statue history and modern day gnome statue makes.
