I am a multi-genre author who always loved to write but never thought about publishing anything until a friend of mine told me I should.

Before that, I was more interested in acting. I performed in a couple of amateur stage showed and joined a Youth run Theatre Company. I was also an extra in a few commercials, TV shows and movies.

My love for acting soon got replaced with the love for my son. I made him my number one priority. I found it easier to write on my spare time than to work around other people's schedules to act. I found that I had to use some of my acting training to write since I had to put myself in the shoes of the characters I created.

I currently have 19 books available to purchase on Amazon. Some of my work (short stories, memoirs and poems) was also featured in online magazines as well as anthologies. I also wrote articles for a local newspaper.

Mr. Right is Hard to Find
Veronica is a 30ish single mother who is seeking Mr. Right for a lasting relationship. That turns out to be a mayor challenge. This story is written in Veronica’s diary, which is a neat approach as the reader is not only privy to the activities but Veronica’s emotions and thoughts. Veronica encounters a number of eligible bachelors in her search for Mr. Right but each one eventually turns out to have a major flaw that Veronica could not live with over the long term. I have read a number of this authors books and I am really impressed with her clearly descriptive writing style. Everyone should enjoy this story.

This book is great!

It's really great to indulge in the gossip of another persons life...you won't get in trouble for it. Veronica's story is one that relates to many women! Men, troubles, fun times, and friendships...

The book is written in a heart-to-heart way simple every day way. Not in a glamor hollywood style, so it's a refreshing read.

Oh and it's a great purse size and this little novella can be read in one sitting...actually, you'll want to finish it in one read! You'll want to know what happens next...

Veronica's Soap Opera Life is a very realistic story of what can happen when a single mom does something spontaneous. Through Todd Veronica meets Alec and before she knows she's in a very unhealthy relationship. Her life that used to be easy gets quite complicated but I have to say that she sure has no dull moment in her life anymore.

This was a fun, easy read that you can read in one sitting! A perfect read for a lazy Sunday or to take with you on the beach.

I can't actually review this book since I am the Author. But, I've been told it's a fun and easy read. A friend and co-worker of mine described it as light and entertaining. Another said she enjoyed reading it on her way to Toronto.

It’s a simple book, which I wrote out of frustration. I am sure a lot of woman will be able to relate to some of my character’s comments.

F.Y.I, I should have written this somewhere in my book notes, but I didn't think about it. You will see spelling and grammar errors because this is a fictional diary and I wanted it to look authentic. So, if you can't stad reading something with obvious mistakes this book might drive you crazy.

From the press:
"This fascinating book lets readers peak into a fictional diary filled with complaints and personal thoughts about men"

Veronica’s Soap Opera Life
by Chantal Bellehumeur

Veronica is a young, single mother, who always had bad luck with men. Although she has a negative view of men in general, and has trouble trusting them, she can’t seem to live without them. In her attempt to avoid being alone like her divorced mother, she becomes involved with men too quickly. She subconsciously goes for the bad boy types, and pushes the decent guys away. Unfortunately, she doesn’t realize the negative effects her unhealthy patterns are having on her emotional well being until her life has turned into a soap opera.
Veronica’s diary is filled with her complaints and personal thoughts on men, her sarcastic and over analytic remarks, as well as all her frustrations and dramas mostly caused by the men in her life. Of course, she also details her love interests and the affairs she gets herself in-and-out of.

Available to purchase at www.Rosedogbookstore.com and Amazon.

Also available is "Veronica's Attempt at Romance" and "Veronica's Happily Ever After"
