This book is written by Mark Strand, not Max Strand. If the good people of goodreads read this, please edit.
Like Mark Strand's book Hopper, this book is about looking at art. Strand is such an excellent wordsmith, I learn so much about observing and describing what I see from reading his books. I would highly recommend this very short book for anyone interested in understanding the art of William Bailey and, more importantly to me, reading a master of perception and description.
