Your Positive Action Steps for Self-Empowerment offers a compilation of personal life experiences, overheard stories, anecdotes, and insight with encouragement to overcome obstacles for a more productive life.
If you listen to others when they speak or you develop relationships with them, you may encounter adults who have never overcome some hurt they acquired as children, or even as adults. Unfortunately, some of them may not understand that they have options -- that they can choose what to do with those painful memories. It's a decision that only they can make, but first they must ask themselves these
* Can they take responsibility now, as adults?
* Can they honestly differentiate between the experience back then and their perception of it today?
* Would they take the path of least resistance?
* Would they blame others then create resentments from their own perceived failures in life?
Life is too short to settle for an unsatisfactory existence. Become proactive with your physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being for a productive and more fulfilling life. Find self-empowerment and a new path in life through self-discipline.
Book Review left by mb on April 24, 2011 http://www.amazon.com/Your-Positive-P... -- What I like most about this book is that it is an easy, fun read. I enjoyed reading the short stories, and their simple morals are something everyone should live by. I liked how each short story led into an explanation of how to live your life, or how to better a way you think of yourself. I think to have a good outlook on life, you first need to have a good vision of yourself, and the way the "answers" to bringing yourself to your finest, or to better your vision of yourself, are laid out very well (as well as easy to understand) in this book. The stories also tie in very nicely with how or why to improve yourself and to help yourself bring you to your true potential :)
