I read this for work. The story is insanely fascinating, in that it illustrates several aspects of foreign as well as domestic politics in post-war Germany, e.g. the relations to Israel and France or the issue of former NSDAP members in the police.

However the writing is at times not very focused, thus making it a little confusing to read. Also, too many people are randomly mentioned and then never brought up again.
