This book really give an understanding about what RFID is and the application in the real world. Starting with an introduction of barcode and its function in helping groceries store, this book really give a layman understanding without any hard technical term. Even though, to be honest I am lost when this book talks about the technical stuff regarding how the RFID system can overcome stacking of different signal. Overall, the book is quite good and emphasizing more on how we can use RFID in daily life use. The author also mention about the downside of RFID which is high cost. Mining data is good but processing the data is something else. A lot of data that are provided by RFID must be accompanied by a system of analyzing data which can convert the high bulky data to highly beneficial reports. Thanks to this book, I know more about what all the things in my surrounding which using RFID application and how I can get benefit by using RFID maybe in my research or business. Really recommended for people who is doing a start up and want to use RFID on their company.
