Hell, Incorporated

Rate this book
It’s Max’s first day on the job, and let me tell you, he’s having one heck of a day. It’s not so much his boss can’t remember his name or mysterious people in black robes want to kill him. No, what really got him concerned was when he found out he was working for Hell. Not only that, but the world could be coming to an end if he and his boss don’t find out what happened to a demon who disappeared after an unconventional exorcism. First days at work are always hell, but who knew that could be taken literally?Jump into the second book of the Mystery Spot Museum and Burrito Emporium universe in this sort of but not really sequel to Mr. Jacobs vs. The Demonic Clowns from the Great Beyond.

Just like with his last novella, Mr.
Jacobs vs.The Demonic Clowns From The Great Beyond, Jeff has given us a laugh out loud and hellish novella that combines horror/comedy with great characters and bizarre situations.

This is Max's first day at a new job but he doesn't know anything about it. Thanks to Dominic, his trainer, he'll soon be involved in all kinds of magic, demons, killer grannys, and possession.

The characters are absolutely memorable. There's enough weird, off the wall traits to each one that will have them stick out in your mind.

We even start out with an exorcism but it's like nothing you've read or seen before. We have demon hunters, strange but powerful devices, even a dog (also named Max) who's more vicious than you think!

It was also great seeing some characters from the first book such as Ms. Lydia. I can't say enough good things about this novella. It's hilarious, gruesome at times, and one of those quick fun books you'll be happy you've read. I highly recommend it.

Well, well, well, if it isn’t my old friend horror comedy. Everyone knows I’m a sucker for Hell, demons, Satan, whatever. And HELL, INCORPORATED is no different.

Folschinsky drops the reader straight into an exorcism. And well, it doesn’t go exactly as planned. It also happens to be Marv… I mean Max’s first day working with Ninth Gate Incorporated. The company is going through some stuff so they have to hire who they can get. Marv… oops, Max isn’t prepared for the insanity that is his first day but really, who could be?

I have not laughed out loud that much at a book in a long time. The pacing is so fast, that the story is over before you know it! So there better be more (glares in hint). I will tell you one thing though, I will forever side eye the dancing wind men that are outside of car lots. I don’t trust them anymore.

I believe I have found my new author to binge.

This sweet bitch gets on my Top Ten of 2024. A DOUBLE HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/5.

Six Stars Funny!
This was great! Nothing like belly laughs just from reading a book!
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Jeff Folschinsky’s offbeat humor flows perfectly through the Horror story that is Hell, Incorporated.
The book is really fast paced, and the timing of the wording is spot on. You can’t help but like the main character Marv/Max as his unique abilities get you to wondering what is going on.
Is there love in Marv/Max’s future? I hope there is a part two.
Best line: It’s stabby time.

This book isn’t something I’d normally read, but I’m so glad I did! I read it while babysitting, and I’d be lying if I said my teenage brother and I weren’t laughing like crazy. It’s an equal mix of hilarious and downright bizarre.

Shoutout to those inflatable air dancer things at car dealerships... After this book, I’m not sure if I’ll ever *not* giggle when I see one.
