Maddison Cole is a married mum of two, and a serial daydreamer. As a huge fan of fantasy romance novels for the past 7 years, she has finally decided to put pen to paper (finger to keyboard doesn't sound as poetic) and begin to write her own.

As a child, life was moving around the UK and a short stint in the Caribbean, before Maddison has found herself back in the south east of England where she is now happily settled. With a double award in applied arts and an A-level in art history, Maddison is just your average musical-loving, Disney-obsessed, jive-dancing woman with a dark passion for steamy fantasy books.

This is the novella that I never knew I needed. It helps fill in some of the blanks and gave me such a better understanding of everything Hoax was thinking, feeling and experiencing during the course of the previous book where after the beginning he was largely absent in, well at least in spirit.

I feel I know him so much more after this and at times this broke my heart with how solitary he seemed. This walks us through everything from when Mania broke Pyros heart right until the finale at the end.

I’m now looking forward to the home straight and discovering how this will all be resolved. Fingers crossed this self made family achieve their much deserved HEA. It’s certainly been a long time coming and they’ve been put through a bloody ringer so far.

Omg!! Marry me Hoax!

So so so glad we got to see what Hoax is going through while the others were "busy"! My heart desperately goes out to him and its hard enough being present and feeling invisible and unheard but to be ACTUALLY invisible .... Let alone while someone manipulates my body?!
The idea shakes me to my core and sounds like torture!!!
While i am happy about some things Hoax accomplished there is 1 thing that Im nervous about but cant wait to read the next book to find out how that "little" detail comes out in the wash!!! No spoilers so Im not saying but this is another hold on by the seat of your pants read even though you've seen SOME of the happenings from Mania, Pyro, and Ghosts POVs.
Man I really do love Hoax (the others too of course) but one of my most fave aspects of Maddisons books is the multiple POVs each book provides! And if you need something to hold you over until the next book.... Check out I Love Candy by Maddison cause it is....... Beyond words but Im in love!!!!

Maddison Cole hit it out of the park, this is my second time reading a series by her. All My Pretty Psychos (Book 1-4) are completely awesome. They have it all Spice, drama, action, doom whatever you could possibly want. This series talks about Mutes (not humans who have been altered or born that way by mutations) How they deal in a world run by humans and how they are treated.
Mania is a mute who can die & come back to live. She meets Pyro years ago, he connects with her. They meet again also with Ghost and Havoc. A lot of drama goes between the four of them and then having to save world from a man who runs afterlife Asylum they find themselves in & others like it where he tests on Mutes & does other bad stuff.

Definitely a series that will suck you in & hold your interest through all four books! I have to say this series & I love Candy are my favorites so far.

Hoax: The Untold Story by Maddison Cole is a novella told solely from Hoax's point of view. It is recommended to read after Kings of Madness to avoid any spoilers.

I absolutely love Maddison's books! I was so excited when she announced this novella, and she did not disappoint. I loved getting Hoax's point of view of events throughout out the series.

I can't wait for the final book Reign of Chaos to be released on December 2, 2022 so I can get the rest of their story.

I would highly recommend this series if you love dark romances, reverse harem romances, or paranormal romance.

so glad we got Hoax’s POV

Hoax’s story and POV was in dire need because throughout the other books you can tell he is the character that has a lot to say and do, but because of his situation we don’t get to know what’s really going on. My question is what does it mean for him now with his story ending the way it does. I can’t wait to find out. I also hope Christopher and his minions get what they deserve!

Brilliant

Absolutely live this series it breaks my heart that as of December the series will be finished.

Hoax's journey through hell and back to find his soul mates and body is one hell of a read.

Maddison makes you feel his desperation on every page, and has you routing for him every step of the way.

Absolutely worth every second.

I'm so glad we got to see what was going on with Hoax, because the previous book left so many unanswered questions, and OMG what a rollercoaster, at this point I just want Christopher to suffer...

Hoax

Haox is definitely my favorite guy in the moment with this series. It was such a good novella to finally have his pov of things. I'm definitely on his side and have a ton of hope for them all in the next book. Can't wait.

Hoax is one of a kind

We needed this little extra to know how Hoax got on during book 2 with the other 3 and he’s full of surprises.
Christopher has no idea the kind of enemies he’s made. Playing god isn’t gonna end well for him.

Well, it was nice to know what Hoax was up to during the second book. But oh my goodness, SOOOOO much happened. So much that we never would’ve known about if we didn’t get Hoax’s POV. Now I really can’t wait to read book three. If you haven’t started this series, get on it.
