A mysterious convergence of natural disasters threatens to destroy life as we know it, and people across the United States are going missing. With no one left to investigate, Special Agent Kendra Baker takes the case, trying to solve the disappearances before she’s out of time.

This is truly a mystery with a side of climate-driven apocalypse. The characters are good but the mystery is easy to figure out. The thing that got me was the cover - which has zero significance until it does. It's a bit of a giveaway. But that took nothing away from the story - which was suspenseful and engrossing. I think I may have to keep going with this series.

And Ray Porter. Seriously, do I need to say more?

This is a very well written story that kept me reading and guessing to the end. The story begins with many questions as people begin to disappear and natural disasters abound as we follow a few key people who end up searching for the truth. I was hooked from the beginning and had to keep reading to see how it all comes together and what was really going on and who was pulling the strings. Just full of mystery, suspense and action as the facts are laid out and answers found. Loved it.

Good read, but not great. Enjoyed the different story lines and some of the action, but it didn't really draw me in. It did get better towards the end, but the ending is mostly a setup for the sequel; lots of unanswered questions and the start of what I think will be a very different story. It was enjoyable, but will not pick up the sequel despite the ending.
