Why did I live?
It haunts me that I still exist. A Garagyre isn’t supposed to survive the loss of a mate…but I did. Have the gods forsaken me? Am I being punished? These are the questions that’ve swirled in my mind for centuries during the brief interludes of consciousness I allow myself from my stoneslumber. Fate is a curious thing I’ve found. Why else would the dulcet tones of a human woman’s voice have pulled my mind from the endless ether of slumber? Her grief…I understand it. Losing half of one’s soul makes an indelible mark. Whoever dared harm her will feel my wrath, and I will make her fall in love with me…just as I’ve fallen for her.

Amazing new release! If you want a monster romance that’s sweet and cute, funny and spicy, along with little twists and turns, evil forces coming to try and ruin the day, sadness from the loss of a loved one and a fated mate… then this book is for you!! I don’t wish to spoil anything, but I will say that Laithog is a sweet & sensitive monster, while displaying super cool abilities and appendages! Paisley is suffering a tragedy and being hounded by a ruthless bad guy, but she’s not as much of a damsel in distress as he may first think. Also there’s two doggie sidekicks (personally I would’ve rather had cats, but oh well, I’ll forgive the author for that. 🤣) - I read this book right as it was about to release, there were a few typos here and there, but I mentioned them to the author so they can be fixed. (As a reminder, it’s much better for an indie author to know personally about a typo, rather than having it reported to Amazon. That way they can fix it themselves and not go through an ordeal with the zon) - Spice level: 3.5/5. (TW’s: loss of loved ones; murder; physical abuse; violence)

An Excellent Read
This was an excellent read! The story for me was a fresh take on the supernatural, and I loved the premise, the Magick was a wonderful and unexpected addition. I did end up binge reading the entire story, a benefit of being retired. This was a tale I could relate to on many different scenarios, and each development had me continually reading to find out what would happen next. Thank you for writing a thoroughly captivating adventure of 2nd chances of love winning all. Huzaah!

Unique
I love the take on this book. The initial storyline moves you with both of them heartbroken 💔 and it is what brings them together. His gentleness towards her breaks thru her initial shock; until she really sees him with her heart and his. It's unique beauty and the beast (monster) love story with demons (Gaston and co.) bad guys. Her pets throw a funny mix into it, my favorite kind.

Loved it!
Different type of supernaturals battle and garagyre of light was a new one on me! Loved the plus sized jewelry maker who lost her twin brother and shared her grief with the sleeping stone beast also grieving a lost soulmate. Good plot, exciting ending! I would read more from this author.

I couldn’t put it down!
This book has everything! It kept me going back for more and was captivating at every turn. The witty humor and naughty little dogs that remind me of my own are a refreshing treat. I can’t wait to see more from this author!

About to read this for the second time because I loved it soooo much!! It had everything i needed in a book sadness, wit, dark verses light and a kick butt couple! And who doesn't love silly little dogs!

Delightful read
Hits hard with loss and the heartbreak it brings but the love that develops between the MC’s and the comedy with the corgis makes this a very enjoyable read.
