Leaving Earth to find love shouldn't be this complicated... When Chloe Reid ends up on the FBI's most wanted list, the offer from the Alien Exchange fits right into her plans. Who cares if she has to hook up with an alien? It's not like she really expects love or anything. She's been burned more than once and doubts the fairytale. The only thing on her agenda is staying far, far away from the Feds' grubby little hands. Prince Aylzrunth from Runihura has his own problems. Not only is he a male in a matriarchal society, but as Captain of the Royal Guards, he's solely responsible for his sister, the heir to the throne. When she mysteriously disappears, he vows he'll do anything to find her. Forbidden to go off-planet to search, he abandons his post and joins the Alliance of Assassins. They'll help him...for a price. Along the way, he interrupts the kidnapping of an Earth woman from the Exchange. He saves the captivating female, but now she's his responsibility. Unfortunately, he's not allowed to make her his own. His only option is to ignore his building desire for her and maintain a chilly distance. Chloe appreciates the rescue, but she doesn't appreciate the attitude. With no option but to work together, Chloe and Aylzrunth journey to find his missing sister. Along the way, they're joined by a snarky spybot, a sentient ship with a crush on Chloe, and Chloe's Mama who doesn't let the vastness of space stop her from calling at the most inconvenient times. Can two stubborn people stop griping at each other long enough to give in to the greatest adventure of all - love?
Keri Kruspe, award-winning “Author of Otherworldly Romantic Adventures” loves nothing more than to write about romances that feature “feisty heroines who aren’t afraid to take a chance on life… or love”. Her writing career started when she became irritated that most SciFi romances had women kidnapped before they could find love. Determined to create something different, she turned “the alien kidnapping trope upside down” (Vine Voice) and the ALIEN EXCHANGE trilogy was born.
A native Nevadan, Keri is a lifelong avid reader who lives in Northwestern Michigan with her hubby and the newest member of the family, a Jack Russell Terrier named Hestia. When not immersed in her made-up worlds, she enjoys discovering the fascinating landscape of her new home and pairing red wine with healthy ways to cook. Most of all, she loves finding her next favorite author.

DNF - quit at 10% The cover art was exceptional & why I tried reading it right away, but when am I going to learn, good cover art does not mean a good story… This just did not pull me into the story, or even make me interested in the main characters I got bored a few pages in already & didn’t like the main characters. I didn’t read any of the previous books in the series, but that wasn’t the problem, as it felt completely independent. The huge glossary of alien terminology was a definite turn off, I’m not going to read the glossary & be able to memorize it in order to make sense of the alien words used & I sure won’t flip back & forth to figure things out. Got this free on Amazon, definitely deleting it from my Kindle library.
At my age (61), life is way too short & my time is too important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable addition to the Alien Exchange collection, I burned through it very nicely in one sitting. As usual, this author can be relied on to combine sexy aliens with exciting plotlines, and makes for some lovely light reading on a sunny Sunday. I recieved a copy of this book from in the author, in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. 4 stars
the alien is alien with some unique anatomy and a completely different upbringing than the feisty herine. both the main characters were easy to identify with once I got to know them. enough humour to give us a respite during some very tense moments. excellent, buying the trilogy that is set just before this story
Chloe’s story with Az is great read. It makes me want more of these brave women and their strong Males. I couldn’t put it down and I mourned the end. I hope Ms. Kruspe writes more. I want to know how all the ladies of earth fair in the alien worlds they find themselves.
This book started OK but quickly de-evolved. Grammer, punctuation, and PLEASE EDIT. This thing reads as if it was hurriedly read out loud to software that translated it into written word. The book had a cool concept, but the lack of editing killed it it. Good luck.
OMG! Chloe was such a bad azz female! I loved her and her big goofy alien. There was so much action, hilarious moments and hot, steamy scenes. The world building was something else and I found the matriarchal society quite interesting although I agree with Chloe, I would have wanted out as well. Looking forward to the next book.
Fun story in a revisit with the Alien Bride Exchange universe. Chloe had wound up with the Alliance of Assassins and a huge alien protector. In a convoluted plot, Chloe and her hero wind up saving a princess and a planet. Great dialogue and a feisty set of characters and a nice revisit with earlier characters.
This was a great human/alien romance that I was lucky to get a chance to read and give a voluntary review. Keri Kruspe did a wonderful job with this book and I have no doubt her other books are great too. Chloe's Turn is available from Amazon
The story was fun, entertaining, adventurous, action pact, with alien politics, love and passion. A human woman who takes no shit unless it from mama. A giant alien warrior prince with heart and honor.
Such a surprising way to begin a liason. Chloe is a fascinating character who is an independent creature who speaks to her mother with great frequency. A wonderful read.
I loved the kick ass heroine with her never give up never give in attitude. I loved that there was always room in her life for her family, even when she was making right the wrongs of the galaxy with yummy alien love interest.
