EJ Rindell finds his life becoming totally chaotic when he becomes entangled with circumstances beyond his control. He accidentally summons the demoness Asmodeus who proceeds to ruin his marriage and partially enslaves him. The government wants to detain him and use him as a research specimen for what appears to be a secret military experiment. Finally, there is Kiarah Kalilah, who is a descendant of the Amesha Spenta, Ameretat, and wants to take his soul to be her "Harmonious Partner" for all eternity. EJ wants nothing to do with any of these circumstances, and just wants his life back. However, will he be able to escape what fate has in store for him?
