Namya Gupta and Yahvi Agarwal, both 13-year-old authors from Mumbai, India, make their literary debut with Wars for Magisis.
Namya, an avid reader of magic and action, found joy in creating her own worlds and knew writing was her true passion. Yahvi discovered her love for storytelling in school and, during the COVID-19 lockdown, teamed up with Namya to bring their first book to life.
When not writing, Yahvi enjoys art, Lego, and Drama class; while Namya loves sketching, Lego-building, and playing with friends. Wars for Magisis is just the beginning of their storytelling journey!

Two opposing factions of magic schools led by leaders, Ruby and Hillary who hate each other. The arrival of a truly evil magi unites them as no one wants their freedom to be snatched. The combined students do form a strong opposition but they start showing cracks of betrayal. Namya and Yahvi have spun a v interesting tale of friendship, jealousy, courage and redemption. A wonderful fantasy that should be read by every fantasy lover.
