Finished v10 and did not like the end. It did the same thing as Toradora with a time skip of a month but also a time skip of several years to adulthood and the MC guy with a job now going to FMC's Hokkaido home from a sudden move to ask her to marry him and she says Yes. I really wouldn't have minded just the two confessing and going out in HS instead of all this unnecessary extra baggage. I thought the surprise bday for her was good and fine, though I still prefer Azuki as a ship and didn't like the way the FMC's relationships grew away from Suzuki.
Ultimately a disappointing end, but it was a fun enough series to read. MC did some cringey things in last two volumes like spending excess money on Azuki's gift and not being able to go out as much anymore, and the end felt a bit rushed with some character arcs like Suzuki, and the drama of her moving to Hokkaido so she didn't wanna be in a relationship was a bit meh since they have Line/Skype and both like each other, but whatever, a lot of series actually do that. I also don't like the convenient jobs the cast ended up with: game designer Azuki, Band leader Suzuki, Koigasaki as a writer, Hasegawa as a teacher was the only fine one, MC as an editor - all of it is just a bit convenient and feels a bit fanfiction-y.
But ah well. Finished and prob won't reread this one. Also skimmed the V11 translation and not interested in the side stories after. V11 seems to be a visit by Momo from Hokkaido briefly but eh. Something else of note - I wanted more of a scene of MC with Momo's father but ah well. Disappointing end but gonna prob check out the author's other licensed work.
