Jake Knight believes the attractive woman who stumbled into his home one rainy evening either has amnesia or is certifiably insane. Jake’s been kept so busy making repairs that he can’t run his ranch. Even if he were stupid enough to wish to sell, the ranch is so firmly entailed that no one can break the conditions.
Jake gradually learns Penny is who she claims, no matter that time travel is supposed to be impossible. They’re locked into a clash that it seems only one of them can win. If an outsider weren’t trying to kill Jake as well as bankrupt him, perhaps he and Penny might be able to reach an agreement. But, there is that treasure….

Texas Lightning! Book 1
Another wonderful book by Caroline Clemmons! Any book by Caroline is an instant purchase without checking to see what it's about. I know I will be entertained and this one didn't disappoint. The characters played their parts well in this romantic time travel and along with a well written storyline, kept me happily swiping the pages. Liked the two main characters, Penny and Jake and enjoyed following them along to a HEA. Looking forward to book 2. JudyE

Most enjoyable read
You can’t help but enjoy the story with excellent character development and storyline. You can just imagine if it was you going back in time and having to confront this whole new life. Only complaint was that it seemed a little rushed at the end and the story never really discussed where Charlie came from and if he was charged with the murder. I’ll enjoy rereading this one again sometime down the line. On to the next in the series.

Texas lighting
This was an awesome book to read. Penny time travels from the 1897 to 2017. Penny and Jake bet on a turkey shoot. Before they could do a tie breaker. Penny sees a scope and pushes Jake out of the way and takes a bullet for Jake

I really enjoyed all 4books. ,They held my attention, I felt like I was there watching the characters doing there thing. I really enjoy time travel books of of any kind. Thanks Caroline please write more.

Wow, what a neat story
I loved this book!!! Caroline did an excellent job of a western time travel romance story. It is on my favorite list now. I look forward to the next book and hope you will read the series as well.

I love time travel and this one has a few twists and turns. I have my strong woman here. I look for strong women in many of books. Loved this book.

I loved the story of Penny and Jake! It was great and a time travel book from Caroline Clemmons! All I can saw is WOW. Can't wait to read the rest of the series. Thank you.
