2022 February Nothin but Love Reading Challenge
Prompt: read a romance manga

I don't really have anything to add. It was a solid volume, but not as strong as previous volumes. Though the cleaning chapters is still one of my faves.

This was a really good volume! The conversation between Takuma and Shino was hilarious, seeing how irresponsible Ichika is with money (and how gullible she is), and watching Takuma and Natsuki get closer to expressing their feelings for each was worth it! I am disappointed with the route that Kururi's chapter took, it felt rushed and there was little to no emotion in it. Kururi doesn't need his help in the end and while Natsuki ends up landing the finishing blow, everything works out without any repercussions. It seemed like a lot of fuss without any payoff or stakes.

Also, Niina's introduction was fine but was shoved into the final chapter, so there was no time to really connect with her character before she becomes the enemy's lover. I'm sure she'll get more screentime in the future, but it was a rushed introduction.

That said, I'm still enjoying this series and am curious to see where it goes. Looking forward to volume 9!
