This novella will make the reader want to seek out additional tales by this author. The world is vibrant and alive and the story is compelling. Following along with the main character makes you want to know more about her history and the rest of her journey. It was a great short read!

Masterful world building
Highly recommended to any fantasy fans. This story drew me in immediately and I particularly loved the design of magic. I'd happily read a full-length novel in this setting.

Fascinating magic system concept
Gift of Silence is about a mother’s journey to save her son even if it kills him. A poignant fantasy with a truly unique take on a magic system based on sound and harmonic vocalization, viewed through the courageous lens of a mother’s love. I would read more in this world.
