About the author

I was born in 1936 during the Depression. Being the only child of my parents, I became imaginative at an early age. My writing career began when I was in Junior High School, but other than a couple of awards in poetry anthologies, I had no real published works until 2008 with a children's story, "Barnaby Bigfoot And The Christmas Surprise." In 2012-3, I self published "Karielle and The Gift of Magic" and :Karielle And the Return of Magic". In Sept 2014 "Laban's Song" published by Black Rose Writing was released.
I live in Coos Bay, Oregon with my artist husband Jim and our orange cat, Jasper. I have the third manuscript of the Karielle trilogy finished and it will be published sometime in 2015. Title "Nanatha, Dacada of Cos."
