I bought this series on a bit of a whim. I assume that the good old algorithm gods sent it to me because I've purchased both Bigfoot and children's book in the past. This is not the usual thing that I like to read, but figured it would be a quick read.
I started it and then forgot about it for a week or two, but when I picked it back up it pulled me in for the long haul. It was adventurous but stayed fairly light-hearted. The characters were fun and fairly well developed, save for the kid's mother, but she didn't have a very large role.
By far my favorite visual was the cat on Tah's shoulder going into battle mode. I wish I were a better artist because I would draw that in a heartbeat.
It was a fun book and I am aiming to complete the rest before the end of the month.
I received a digital copy from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
Overall this was an interesting take on Bigfoot and the lore behind him. The aliens were interesting, and their mad search for humans to destroy them was also quite interesting. But the fact the Bigfoot has supernatural powers is so intriguing. I never thought about that before, but it makes sense. Anyways, it was an interesting read.
