Drovers hold an iconic place in our Australian identity, due to the courage and perseverance needed to transport cattle and sheep hundreds of kilometres through rural and outback areas. But what of the women and children who travelled with them?
Terrific account of a rural Australian life from a not-so-long past era on the road. Very family and animal orientated. Real life tough, fallible, often humorous and hardy characters. Not politically correct. Realistic. Definitely recommend if you love Australiana, the outback, and animals.
